Mumbai Wankhede Stadium will host world Cup 2011 final while other seven stadiums in India will be used for the event. The tournament will jointly hosted by Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. As we all know that the Indian wickets are batsmen friendly wickets so we can expect big runs from the batsmen.
The BCCI gave a statement that Mohali, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, New Dehli, Kolkata are the other venues. The Semi Final of World Cup 2011 will be played at Mohali. It will be a moment of proud for the Mumbai. Sri Lanka is to host the other semi-final and one quarter-final with Bangladesh hosting the other two quarter-finals.
It will be proud moment for all the Indians. The BCCI had to do well for this tournament progress. They had to lot of work at the stadiums and had to sort the problems of the pitches to make this event a good one.
